Q. How long is one sample good for, and how should I store it?

A. All our sealed samples are kept in a frozen environment and are are completly defrosted on arrival. This ensures that no bacterial growth takes place during the time of transportation and shipping. Once you receive the sample you should freeze it immediately. Our defrosted and sealed urine samples can keep for up to 7 to 10 days before the sample integrity would be compromised, while a frozen sample will keep for a year.

Q. How should I thaw the sample?

A. When it is time for the sample to be brought up to the correct temperature, the best way to do this is to thaw the sample under hot running water. Once the sample reaches 90-99 degrees Fahrenheit, shake it a few times just to ensure any loose floating crystals are dissolved, and then apply the heating pad. You can be sure that the temperature reading is correct, because the temperature strip that we use is the SAME strip that medical offices use after the drug test.

Q. Is temperature important?

A. YES! Temperature is the most important aspect of passing any drug test. Keeping the specimen at the correct temperature level is one of the hardest things to do when diluting or substituting the sample. IN FACT, drug testing centers use the sample's temperature as the primary method of determining if the urine has been tampered with. We eliminate this worry by including two self heating pads in all of our Substitution kits. Combined with body heat, the heated pad ensures that the sample is mantained at the perfect temperature for 10 HOURS!

Q. How can I be sure that these are clean samples?

A. All of our urine donors undergo routine urinalysis tests looking for the presence of illegal drugs, including nicotine, blood, and various diseases that might be present in a urine sample. Then each sample that is collected undergoes ANOTHER test to ensure that the urine is free and pure from all substances. Isn't it comforting to know that before YOU put our samples to the test, we already have?

Q. Is this animal or human urine? What is the difference?

A. These are 100% human urine samples. The difference between animal and human urine samples is lgG, which is a component unique only to human urine. Unlike creatine, lgG must be found in the urine specimen being tested or it will result in non-human urine on a drug test.

Q. Does transportation and shipping process effect the quality of the urine sample?

A. All our urine samples are vacuum sealed and frozen when you receive them. This is to ensure that there is no bacteria growth within the sample itself during the time of transportation and shipping. Clean urine can be stored over a year and six months without losing its original properties. An unfrozen sample can actually last 6 to 7 days before bacterial growth can begin to take place. All orders are shipped out frozen, and you will usually receive them within 3 days of placing the order.

Q. How long will clean Urine maintain the correct temperature?

A. By keeping the urine sample close to your body, (i.e. under the armpit) this will help maintain the correct temperature. We also include two self heating pads that keep the sample warm at a consistent temperature for up to 10 hours. This is so that if you are kept in a waiting room for a while, the sample will be the same temperature as when you walked in the door.

Q. How can I be sure that the sample is at the correct temperature?

A. Included with all Substitution kits are two liquid crystal thermal strips that can be placed directly on the preheated sample itself. These are the same strips that are used is medical offices to test the sample temperature right after you take the test. This provides assurance that the proper temperature is being maintained.

Q. Does it matter if I use male or female urine?

A. Yes, it does. Many other website may advertise otherwise, stating that most employment drug tests do not go as far as testing gender. We believe it is foolish to chance your future on something that you are unsure of. While many drug tests do not perform DNA testing on the urine specimen this is a precaution we take to ensure a 100% success rating. Depending on why the test is being taken and who is administering the test effects if DNA testing is going to be utilized.

Q. I have a problem or question that this document did not cover. How can I get in touch with you?

A. Just click the "Contact Us" link on the left navigation bar and we will reply to your question within 24 hours. You can also email us at: customerservice@perfecturine.com .

Q. Is it safe to be ordering and receiving these types of products?

A. Yes. When you order from our website you are ordering though a secure protected connection. Remember, these are completely legal products that come shipped to you in discreet and private packaging. ALL information is kept private.

Q. What are adulterants and what is so bad about them?

A. There are two types of adulterants. First, you have common household items such as water, bleach, baking soda, eye drops, vinegar, ect. The other kind, are chemical additives to urine that are marketed to "beat any drug test or your money back". These include:

-Nitrite: “Klear” and “Whizzies”

-Acid: “THC-FREE” and “Amber 13”

-Detergent: “Mary Jane Superclean 13”, “Purafyzit” and “Test Clean”

-Glutaraldehyde: “Instant Clean ADD-It-ive”

-Mixed reagents: “Lucky Lab LL418”

-"Urine Luck"

Not only have NONE of these products been proven to be effective, but government standards now mandate that all urine specimens be tested for these adulterants. THEY DO NOT WORK. Don't chance your job or freedom with products like these!!!

Q. What does a drug test look for in urine?

A. Listed below are the chemicals most commonly tested for in a urine analysis. You will also find a chart indicating exactly how long it takes for these chemicals to become undetectable.

    • Alcohol - While Alcohol is not part of the standard drug test, it is not uncommon to test for in some situations. It is less common in pre-employment tests, but is relatively common for parole testing or random on the job testing, especially for safety sensitive jobs.

    • Amphetamine - Amphetamines generally cause strong physical and mental stimulation, keeping users awake and alert for many hours, and some amphetamines cause mood lift / euphoria. There is however, a surprisingly long list of over the counter substances that can trigger FALSE POSITIVES for Amphetamines. These substances include: Ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, propylephedrine, phenylephrine, or desoxyephedrine ( Nyquil, Contact, Sudafed, Allerest, Tavist-D, Dimetapp, etc ) Phenegan-D, Robitussin Cold and Flu, Vicks Nyquil Over-the-counter diet aids with phenylpropanolamine (Dexatrim, Accutrim)
Over-the-counter nasal sprays ( Vicks inhaler, Afrin )Asthma medications (Marax, Bronkaid tablets, Primatine Tablets) Prescription medications (Adderall, Amfepramone, Cathne, Etafediabe, Morazone,...phendimetrazine, phenmetrazine, benzphetamine, fenfluramine, dexfenfluramine, ...dexdenfluramine,Redux, mephentermine, Mesocarb, methoxyphenamine, phentermine,... amineptine, Pholedrine, hydroymethamphetamine, Dexedrine, amifepramone, clobenzorex,...fenproyorex, mefenorex, fenelylline, Didrex, dextroamphetamine, methphenidate, Ritalin,
...pemoline, Cylert, selegiline, Deprenyl, Eldepryl, Famprofazone)

    • Barbiturates - Detection periods for barbiturates vary greatly depending on the specific barbiturate being used. Each barbiturate has a different half-life in the body, meaning they stay around for different periods of time. Medications that would trigger a false positive would be: Dilantin, Fiorinal, and Fioricet. Fiorinal and derivatives are often prescribed for migraines and chronic tension headaches.

    • Benzodiazepines - Benzylpiperazine (BZP) is a piperazine and a CNS stimulant. It is one of the more commonly used piperazines, providing stimulant effects which people describe as a noticeably different than those of amphetamines. In fact, laboratories screen for BOTH of these chemicals.

    • Cannabinoids(THC) - THC is one of the "NIDA 5", ( One of the five drugs tested for in the standard NIDA approved drug test.) It is detectable in Urine for 48-72 hours after single use. Habitual or chronic use can be detected in urine sometimes more than 12 weeks depending on quantity, duration, and frequency of use.

    • Cocaine - Cocaine is also one of the 'NIDA-5' tested for in drug tests. It can be detected for approximately 48-72 hours after single use. Frequent or heavy use can be detected much longer. Cocaine is metabolized in the liver and is then excreted though urine as benzoylecgonine and ecgonine methyl ester.

    • Opiates - Heroin breaks down into codeine and morphine. Codeine breaks down into morphine. The opiate drug tests look for codeine, morphine, and 6-acetyl-morphine. Opiates are excreted through the urine while their metabolites remain unchanged.

    • Phencyclidine - 10% of PCP is excreted unchanged in the urine. The remainder is metabolized into hydroxylate or glucuronide. Standard urine screening and gc/ms test for both PCP and its metabolites. PCP is stored by the body in fatty lipid tissue for up to several weeks. Chronic users and individuals with high body fat count are at the greatest risk of long-term detection.
